Daleela is a financial journalist and identifies trends in the marketplace through her position in the financial media.  She primarily trades in small and microcap securities.  She uses a long-short strategy, but will not use margin in the account.

Daleela invests in small and micro cap securities which are moving based on earnings reports, news or trends.  While she will short securities, she will not use leverage.

Daleela discovers investment opportunities by identifying trends, listening to earnings calls and monitoring news feeds.

The portfolio will typically trade one security at a time.  This security will typically not represent more than 40% of the total portfolio.

Daleela will typically hold a security for 1-2 days, selling when the security is up 20-30%.  Alternatively, she is very quick to cut her losses and will use stop loss orders as a tool to limit losses.

She may invest in a security outside the small and micro cap universe if she sees large opportunities.
